I'm a builder, operator, and early-stage investor based in Denver. I've spent much of my career building products and businesses that help people learn, work, and explore.
I'm drawn to the moments when companies change shape: zero to scale, one product to many, research to revenue. These days, I'm exploring a few problems I've wanted to solve for over a decade, writing about AI and human agency, and working with early-stage founders.
Prior roles
Guild2017–2026 Five executive roles as the company grew from pre-revenue to $250M+ in revenue. Built the product, design, analytics, and data science organization, then ran a 60+ person marketplace team. Most recently, SVP, Product and Market Expansion, leading new products and expansion into 100+ countries and the US public sector.
Craftsy2013–2017 Worked in product and engineering as the company grew from $10M to $60M+ in revenue through its acquisition by NBCUniversal. Left as Senior Director, Product and Engineering.
TripAdvisor2010–2013 Worked across marketing, operations, and product, then focused on mobile products as travel planning moved onto phones and tablets. My time there spanned the company's IPO.
Since 2019, I've also invested in and worked with early-stage companies. I coach founders and product executives, advise teams on product and business design, and serve as an independent board member. My investment interests span durable human systems, AI infrastructure, hard tech, and intelligence for physical systems. More on working together.
Outside of work: partner to Elyse, dad to two young boys, based in Denver.
